The wonderful Escape key (Esc) on your keyboard is probably
more useful than you realize. As you might think, pressing
it allows you to escape from something. Here are a couple:
1- When visiting a web site and an audio file starts playing,
more often than not it's one you don't really want to listen
to. Pressing the Esc key will stop the sound most of the time.
Works for sound embedded directly into the page. Doesn't work
for sound embedded into Flash.
2- If a web page is loading in your browser and you want to
stop it, pressing the Esc key will stop the page instantly,
and it's faster and easier than maneuvering your cursor to
the Stop button on the browser menu.
